i see you lying next to me with words i thought i'd never speak.

my boyfriend, josh (the jew, our relationship apparently lasted less than two months) broke up with me on friday. so, i guess this is what it feels like to be the dumpee?

he gave me flowers on monday, and they weren't even wilting by the time he broke up with me. (now they are sort-of dead, but the lilies are still holding on. hardy flowers, lilies. wish i could say the same, i'm such a sap.) what a whoring whore who whores, my god!

i don't quite know how to describe this feeling. i'm not depressed, i certainly don't want to slit my wrists and die or anything.

perhaps the proper word is "apathy". it sounds nice enough, though there's something else there. i think it's ... unrelenting cynicism. more than anything, i just would like to laugh at everyone and their motives and their stupid little love songs. they really, really make me want to puke.

but i want to run, too. i want to run so far that i've (quite literally) put everything behind me, and can start completely over.

so much for apathy.

the sad thing is that i would love to do that, because our paper doesn't use any of my photos anymore! or they just don't have me take any ... O_O

i kinda know the feeling. i think. well, when anh and i broke up, i didn't feel sad, i was just really angry. and the funny thing is, he was so so so so sad. and i was just, get away from me or i will shoot you or something. but yeah. i'm glad it's not affecting you too negatively. my aim isn't working so great lately, which is why i haven't been on, but you can still find me at my email! hope you're well :)

i was that way for about two minutes ... i sat there with him on speakerphone and a good friend sitting there listening, and i was like "okay, give me two minutes and then snap me out of it." because he was just ... not worth it. he was even less worth it than my first boyfriend (perkey) was.

especially since he cheated on me.

These photographs are absolutely gorgeous. With that being said, you can join me in my skepticism on the topics of love and pretty much the whole male sex. The movies, the romance novels, the songs (as you mentioned) . . . total lollerskates.

Okay, so maybe I'm being a little snotty, but still. Whatever. I don't care.

I'm glad you decided to update. I still miss talking to you.

very much so. i totally agree, you're not being snotty at all.

now, my views on the male sex are very skewed. seeing as at approximately noon today, i found out that josh actually broke up with me for another girl. not cool, man. not cool.
