she definitely served as a much less naggy/annoying version of my sister for this trip. we did a lot of walking arm-in-arm all over the place, which was funny because we were getting a lot of requests for pictures from the natives. thus, the bodyguard to make sure we weren't trafficked or anything. later on we fabricated a story about us being rich american pop stars, it was a great time.

let's! although it doesn't really look like i'll be going to northwestern anymore unless we win the lottery - michigan state gave me some really good offers that i would never in my right mind refuse. if i get into their honors college i get first choice of classes, potential professorial assistantships, lots more study abroad options and i get to stay in the honors dorms. pretty friggin' awesome.
